My Funded Futures Hidden Rules: Complete Guide to Activation, Consistency & Inactivity
My Funded Futures has several important rules that aren't always obvious on the marketing page. Here's everything you need to know.

Max Funding

1. The Activation Fee
Unlike some firms where the challenge fee covers everything, My Funded Futures requires a one-time activation fee (~$149) when you pass evaluation.
What It Covers
Factor this into your total cost. Challenge fee + activation fee = true cost to get funded.
2. The Consistency Rule
Your biggest winning day cannot exceed 40-50% of your total profit at withdrawal time. This prevents lucky spike withdrawals.
How It Works
Why It Exists
Prop firms want traders with repeatable edge, not gamblers who got lucky on one news event. This rule ensures payouts go to consistent traders.
How to Fix It
If your best day exceeds the limit:
- Continue trading smaller size
- Accumulate profit over additional days
- Request payout when compliant
3. The 30-Day Inactivity Rule
If you don't place a trade for 30 days, your account may be breached and terminated.
How to Stay Active
Taking a break? Place a tiny position (0.01 lot) once a week. Close it the same day. This keeps your account active.
4. EOD Drawdown (Your Advantage)
My Funded Futures uses End-of-Day (EOD) drawdown—intraday drops don't count if you recover by close.
5. Fast Payouts
Summary
- $149 activation fee - factor into total cost
- 40-50% consistency rule - no lucky spikes
- 30-day inactivity - trade weekly to stay active
- EOD drawdown - major advantage
