FTMO Hidden Rules: The News Trading Trap

On the standard FTMO account, you cannot open or close trades 2 minutes before or after a high-impact news event. This is the #1 reason traders lose their accounts.

The Solution: Swing Account

If you want to trade news, or hold trades over the weekend, you MUST choose the FTMO Swing Account. The leverage is lower (1:30), but the restrictions are removed.
