What is the difference between PRO and GROWTH plans?▼
PRO features a Hard Daily Loss Limit ($1k-$2k), a 50% consistency rule during eval, 5-day payout cycles, and 100% withdrawals up to high caps ($5k-$8k). GROWTH features no Daily Loss Limit during eval, a Soft DLL when funded (locks trading for the session without terminating the account), a 40% consistency rule during eval, 4-day payout cycles, and 50% withdrawals up to $2,500-$4,000.
What is the 50% Min New Profit rule for payouts?▼
To submit a payout request, at least 50% of the requested amount must represent newly generated profit during the current payout cycle, not carried-over profit from prior cycles. For example, if you carry over $2,000 from a previous cycle and generate $400 in new profit, your maximum allowable withdrawal request is $800 ($400 new + $400 carried-over).
Can US residents trade FTMO Futures?▼
Yes! FTMO Futures accepts legal US residents (natural persons only) with a valid SSN/TIN and completed IRS Form W-9. Payouts require proof of ownership of a traditional regulated US bank account (digital fintech banks like Wise or Chime are not accepted). Note: Residents of Arkansas, Delaware, Louisiana, Montana, and South Carolina are currently restricted.
How does the Sim-Funded contract scaling plan work?▼
Funded accounts start with reduced contract limits (2 for 50k, 4 for 100k, 6 for 150k). As your end-of-day profit above initial capital passes milestone thresholds ($1,000, $2,000, $3,000, $4,500+), your maximum contract capacity automatically increases the following day up to 5, 10, or 15 contracts. If your balance drops back below a threshold, contract limits adjust downward the next day.
What happens if I hit the Soft Daily Loss Limit on Growth funded?▼
On the Growth Sim-Funded account, hitting the Daily Loss Limit auto-closes all open positions and suspends trading for the remainder of that trading session. The account is NOT terminated, preserving your funded status. Trading automatically resumes at the start of the next trading day (6:00 p.m. ET).
What does EOD Trailing Drawdown mean and does it lock?▼
End-of-Day (EOD) Trailing means the drawdown floor only updates at the conclusion of the trading day (4:10 p.m. ET) based on closing account balance, never tracking unrealized intraday peaks. Once the trailing limit reaches your initial starting capital ($50k, $100k, or $150k), it permanently locks at that figure for the life of the account.
What are the Qualifying Days requirements for a payout?▼
To request a payout, you must log qualifying trading days within your payout cycle. Growth requires 4 qualifying days ($150+ for 50k, $250+ for 100k, $300+ for 150k). Pro requires 5 qualifying days ($200+ for 50k, $300+ for 100k, $500+ for 150k). Days below these minimum closed profit thresholds do not count toward eligibility.
What is the maximum number of concurrent funded accounts allowed?▼
Traders may hold a maximum of 3 concurrent Sim-Funded accounts at any one time across all account sizes and product types, for a total maximum allocation of $450,000.
