The 5%ers Bootcamp Strategy: How to Pass Low Leverage
The 5%ers Bootcamp is unique. You pay a tiny entry fee (€95). You must pass 3 consecutive demo stages. The profit target is 6% per stage. The catch? Leverage is 1:10.
The Problem with 1:10 Leverage
Most traders are used to 1:100. They open 1.0 lots on Gold without thinking. With 1:10 leverage, you barely have enough margin to open a 0.5 lot on a $10k account. Psychology Check: You will feel like the account is "frozen". Price will move 50 pips, and you will only make $20.
The Strategy: "Slow Compounding"
Do not try to pass this in a week. It is impossible. The 5%ers give you Unlimited Time. Use it.
Step 1: The Position Sizing
- Risk: 1% per trade.
- Stop Loss: You must use wide stops (30-50 pips).
- Why? With 1:10 leverage, you cannot scalp 5 pips. The margin requirements favor Swing Trading.
Step 2: The Pairing
Trade pairs with lower margin requirements if possible (Majors: EURUSD, GBPUSD). Avoid exotic crosses involving CHF or JPY if the margin requirement is higher (check broker specs).
Step 3: The 3 Stages
- Stage 1 (6%): Take your time. Aim for 2 good trades a week.
- Stage 2 (6%): You will feel fatigue. Stick to the plan.
- Stage 3 (6%): The "final boss". Most traders rush here and fail. Treat is as Day 1.
Why do this Challenge?
If it's so slow, why bother? The Reward. Once you pass, you get a $100k Live Account. The 5%ers have the Best Scaling Plan in the world. every 10% profit you make funded = Double the Account. $100k -> $200k -> $400k -> $1M. This is not a "Monthly Income" account. This is a "Retirement Plan" account.
