Smart Prop Trader (SPT) launched with a bang. Blake Olson is the "Godfather" of prop firm reviews. He reviewed everyone else, then built his own. His promise: "I know what sucks about other firms. I won't do that."

Issues

SPT has had some "teething" issues with tech migrations (like everyone else in 2024). Platform stability is good now (cTrader/Match), but they are less "Unique" than they were at launch. They are essentially a "Better/Cheaper FTMO Clone".

Verdict

Smart Prop Trader is safe. It is vanilla. If you want a standard 2-step challenge from a guy you trust on YouTube, buy SPT. If you want crazy features (Instant Funding, 1-Step), look elsewhere.
